Born in 1974, Martial Vout is a Swiss security advisor, bodyguard and self-defence instructor. After training in the US, France and Switzerland, his past work experience includes the protection of varied CEOs, Middle East personalities and actors in Switzerland and other European countries.

Besides his different assignments with VIPs, besides his own training and teaching in full-contact and combat shooting, he developed his own method of self-defence and gives classes and workshops to teach women and men about their inner strength. His various books publications include:

  • in April 2002: Plus jamais victimes (ed. Michel Lafon, Paris) with Isabelle Alonso, French feminist and writer and Isabelle Mergault, French actress and director.
  • in November 2014: I can defend myself (ed. Life Positive, Delhi / Zen Publications, Mumbai) with a foreword from Kiran Bedi, actual Governor of Puducherry.
  • in March 2019: Autodéfense instinctive (ed. Favre, Lausanne) with a foreword and pictures from Swiss singer Sonia Grimm.

Martial Vout will return to Mumbai and Delhi from end-September to mid-December 2019 to give classes in association with various NGOs such as United Social Development Foundation (www.usdfindia.org) and Agragami (www.agragamiindia.org). He will also give private classes.
